A clearly defined route and purpose
Trenching is excavation along a planned route. Before discussing the digging itself, Redline needs to understand what the trench is intended to support, where it will run and the conditions along the way. The work can be coordinated with property improvements or a broader residential, agricultural or commercial site project.
Information that helps define the work
Share any available drawings or project requirements, the start and end locations and the intended use. Identify existing surfaces, structures, fences or other obstacles along the route. Knowing which parts of the project are excavation and which belong to another trade helps make the scope clear.
Consider the route as a whole
A route that looks open in one area may have different access or ground conditions farther along. Include photos and known utility information, and describe where excavated material can be handled. Site conditions and the requirements supplied for the project guide the proposed excavation scope.
When the project includes drainage
If the trench forms part of a drainage improvement, explore Stormwater Management Systems. For broader preparation around the route, see Site Preparation.
Experience, communication and a clear scope
Redline Siteworks is built on 12 years of experience in excavation, site development and civil construction. Our owner is OSHA Certified and Project Management Certified. We plan each job around the actual site and communicate the proposed work in clear terms.
Warranty coverage is job-specific. Warrantied and non-warrantied scopes are identified in the written estimate/invoice documentation before work begins.
